A Red Hat Certified Cloud Provider offers a trusted destination for Red Hat customers, ISVs, and partners to use Red Hat technologies in public clouds, and meets rigorous testing and certification requirements to ensure the delivery of a safe, scalable, supported, and consistent environment for enterprise cloud deployments.

Through the Certified Cloud Provider Program, Red Hat has established the industry's first program to certify that vendors have tested the cloud and have support processes in place to quickly resolve problems should they occur.

The Certified Cloud Provider Program delivers industry-leading program benefits, including:

• Cloud-specific Red Hat offerings and pricing designed to make the cloud accessible and attractive to developers, administrators, and users
• Preconfigured, certified Red Hat images enabled with cloud-specific configuration and security to make deployments simple and secure
• Innovative management and updating services built for scale that provide maximum security and lower costs, while ensuring consistency between customer datacenter and public cloud environments
• Extension of Red Hat partner ISV certification to public clouds, ensuring enterprise solution availability and consistency regardless of deployment choices.

There are two tiers of Red Hat Certified Cloud Providers:

Certified Cloud Providers

Certified providers have passed business, operational, and technical requirements to be able to offer Red Hat solutions under cloud appropriate business models and are backed by Red Hat support relationships.

Premier Certified Cloud Providers

Premier Certified Cloud Providers offer additional capabilities from Red Hat that ensure the highest level of business and operational flexibility for enterprise customer deployments.

Through the program, Certified Cloud Providers can run Red Hat technologies on certified and supported virtualization solutions, ranging from Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization to VMware and Microsoft solutions. In addition, Premier Certified Cloud Providers are uniquely able to deliver Red Hat Cloud Access, bringing the Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription to the cloud through an innovative licensing model and driving easy enterprise adoption for enterprises.
