Look Inside Red Hat

Department Highlights

Sales and Customer Engagement

Mark Enzweiler

Mark Enzweiler, Vice President, Global Channels and Acting Head of Global Sales and Services

The sales and customer engagement teams work directly with Red Hat's clients, customers, and users to ensure that their Linux solutions are appropriate and valuable to their line of business. Their clientele includes everyone from small businesses to Fortune 500 engagements, and the team is made up of both sales and technical staff who can provide prospective or returning purchasers with expert advice about any architecture or migration.

Products and Technologies

Paul Cormier

Paul Cormier, Executive Vice President and President, Products and Technologies

The Products and Technologies teams include almost all of the internal engineering staff responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform, the JBoss Enterprise Middleware architecture, and any other open source technology solutions in use today or being dreamed up for tomorrow.

Operations and IT

Lee Congdon

Lee Congdon, Chief Information Officer

No company can survive without their IT infrastructure, and Red Hat is no different. Operations and IT staff seek to provide all Red Hat associates with world-class open source technology solutions. From email to calendering, to networks and data storage, the IT organization keeps Red Hat running smoothly.

Finance

Charlie Peters

Charlie Peters, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Our finance department is responsible for all global financial operations, including treasury and revenue functions, financial control and reporting, compliance, and auditing--whether it is managing relations with external auditors like banks or the SEC, or internal evaluations of our balance sheet. This group includes, of course, many other functions near and dear to most Red Hat associates - things like payroll, travel, purchasing, accounts payable and that inevitable category - taxes.

Legal, Business Affairs, and Corporate Affairs

Michael Cunningham

Michael Cunningham, Executive Vice President and General Counsel

The Legal Affairs team strives to provide Red Hat with timely, pragmatic legal advice. This advice extends to contract negotiations, intellectual property management (including naming and trademark decisions), equity compensation programs, SEC reporting, and any sort of legal dispute, regulation, or contract.

People and Brand

DeLisa Alexander

DeLisa Alexander, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer

Though these groups may seem like strange bedfellows, the marriage of human resources and brand communications and design has created a group that is focused on the acquisition, engagement, and integration of bright, successful Red Hat associates. These two-teams-in-one are responsible for recruiting, hiring, orientation, internal communications, and the ongoing look, feel, and philosophy of the Red Hat brand and its many sub-brands and solutions. The human resources portion of the group focuses on the associate experience, dealing with benefits, behaviors, and on-boarding. The brand portion of the group is primarily engaged as a service agency, assisting with written, visual, and multimedia content generation for internal and external use throughout the company and the world.
